The Perth Mint has posted a rebuttal to my post Click here for rebuttal...I have contacted my dealer, and an extremely large Mine, and they have explicitly told me that they cannot order Dragons, even though they have ordered 3-5% of last years Rabbits. The Dragons are gone folks. Someone has spoken for them. I would like the Perth Mint to blog and write in writing that Current Dealers are now welcome to order MORE on TOP OF THEIR first orders they already have coming, which are now sold out at APMEX (You can send me a fuckin commission check Perth Mint). They wont, because they cant. They are gone. Until MY dealer and MY very large Mine says they CAN order Dragons, only then will I put this to rest, and say I'm wrong. So again, A. They are already ordered completely by dealers, or B. Someone took 20-40% of them in one shot, which is the rumor we are hearing. In no means are we trying to hype up the PM dragons, trust me I could care less for numismatics with little fury animals on them. PMint should be thanking me for free press right now as I rarely like to give it. Something smells fishy here.

話說在文革時代, 全部有錢人都俾人拉咗, 要屋企人俾錢才可以放人, 而我家公當時是在深圳做生意的, 有舖有屋有店 ! 我家婆儲咗金條放佢娘家在香港, 所以佢啦啦聲去取金條救我家公出來, 但全部產業都俾人收咗 ! 最後成家人落咗來香港從新來過 ! 而祖屋後來都可以取返, 但間舖就說是我家公簽字賣咗無得俾返 !
聽完呢個故事我地說, 點解佢唔留返一條金條, 而要去幫人補衫來生活 !
呢個就是文革害人不淺的事實 !

澳洲2012年龍年1盎司銀幣和金幣據說還沒上市就被掃光了，手腳還是太慢啊！
不過訂了幾顆1/2盎司的，也聊勝於無，過年再來當紅包．
去年運氣不錯，買了一個2000年澳洲龍年10盎司銀幣，價格大約和2012年的5盎司價格差不多．
2012年的笑鴗鳥太醜了．

看了2012無尾熊(樹熊)的圖案，覺得澳洲廠是不是設計師換人了?生肖銀幣套用2000年設計，只是左右相反，笑鴗鳥和無尾熊銀幣都醜不拉幾的，還不如前兩年的圖案，越做越回去．

As you know, I am interested in 9999 gold bar as it is worldwide accepted and the spread is smaller compared with coins. I have also bought some silver bar too.
Unlike coins, bars have no depreciation even if there is any scratch marks or red/black dots.
Can I ask you why you and most gold bugs are interested in Coins? which are difficult to find nowadays and the spread is wide.

9999金條難求, 妳可以試問上海商業銀行, 多數會有一両裝, 五両就唔知有無. 而周生生地舖都會有五両裝9999金條 !
妳又要9999又要平溢價, 所以須靠運氣, 因為實金銀溢價只會愈來愈高 !
好多人走去買金幣是因為世界通用, 佢地說, 袋住個金幣去邊一個國家都可以套現, 而金條就有D難度了, 而金幣作假難, 金條作假易 !
澳洲鴻運金幣和加拿大楓葉金幣都是9999 !

Yes, you are right, Coins are more accepted than bars worldwide, unless they are made in Swiss or Canada.
In fact, 澳洲鴻運金幣和加拿大楓葉金幣 spread is not too bad if they are available in Bank.
However, coins are more difficult to find compared with Bars and I don't think Banks accept reservation, am I correct?

I emailed Perth Mint, confirmed that they have 1oz all sold out. I called a few Australia dealers, some of them even didn't get any!! some get 10 while they ordered 100. Good luck.

Personal reason
I have to buy dragon coin, even for collectible ones. That's why I bought the Canadian dragon coins, x2 expensive then the perth ones.
Otherwise, yes, 買唔到就算數 as we won't sell the coins anyway and by no means.
BTW, what's the role of Perth Mint Hong Kong? I don't think they have got anything to sell.
